What is a Private Mailbox ?

Also known as a PMB, private mailboxes are a great way for you to receive all of your mail and packages in one place. PMB's are sold under three-month, six-month and one-year terms. We asked our current box holders why they have PMB's at The Mail Room and it really boils down to 3 core reasons: privacy, security and convenience.

Unlike traditional P.O. boxes at the post office, a PMB gives you a real physical address. That means you can receive mail and packages from any carrier including Amazon and OnTrac.

What do I need to setup a PMB?

The process is simple. Here’s what you’ll need to get setup:

• At least one form of photo ID, and one additional piece of accepted ID*

• A completed PS form 1583

• Your first payment

*Acceptable forms of identification include:

• Driver's License

• Government ID

• Armed Forces ID

• Alien Registration Card

• Certificate of Naturalization

• Current Deed of Trust

• Current Lease

• Current Mortgage

• Current Proof of Insurance Policy

• Passport

• Recognized Corporate ID
